Book-Bite #1, The Places We Buy Books

Loud Librarian Josh discusses bookstores and bookshops in the first ever Loud Librarian Book-Bite! Join Josh as he reminisces about Borders Books, and talks at length about Powell’s Books of Portland, Oregon, and why everyone should just live there (in Powell’s).

Josh also discusses the local bookshops of Corvallis, Oregon, and describes what makes each of them unique. The Book Bin, Browser’s Books, and Grass Roots Books and Music. Each shop is its own community hub of book lovers, and the proprietors give each store an individuality that makes them, together, a triumvirate force of literature in Corvallis.
